Dr. Md. Mortuza Rashid brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team as our esteemed administrative advisor. With a background as an eye specialist and a distinguished career as a government employee, Dr. Rashid has served in various capacities, including as a BCS cadre retired from the National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital, Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he held the position of Deputy Director (DD). Dr. Rashid received his education at Chittagong Medical College and University, further solidifying his foundation in the medical field. His extensive knowledge and leadership qualities make him a valuable asset to our administrative team.

Dr. Md. Aftabur Rahman, an accomplished geotechnical engineer and academic, serves as the Advisor of Inside Engineering. Currently an Associate Professor at Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology, he specializes in fundamental soil mechanics and teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Driven by a passion for research, Dr. Rahman completed his Master of Engineering at Saitama University in Japan, followed by a PhD at Yokohama National University under the prestigious (MEXT) fellowship. With a focus on numerical modeling and mitigation of long-lasting geotechnical hazards, his expertise lies in sub-soil investigations, foundation design, and addressing challenges such as landslides and liquefaction. With a strong publication record and over seven years of teaching experience, Dr. Rahman is dedicated to advancing the field of geotechnical engineering.

Mr. Md. Nural Islam is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Chief Engineer & Advisor at S.M. Construction since December 2018, Mr. Islam plays a crucial role in providing both business and technical advisory services while overseeing project execution. Previously, he served as the CEO & Advisor at OGH (formerly Emaco Bangladesh), where he offered invaluable guidance in business strategy and technical matters, ensuring the successful implementation of projects. Prior to his role at OGH, Mr. Islam held the position of Superintending Engineer (Electrical) at Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakkha (RAJUK), where he managed a range of development projects and ensured compliance with regulatory standards. With an extensive background as an Executive Engineer at the Public Works Department, Mr. Islam has been involved in estimating project costs, supervising works, and coordinating with other authorities to ensure project success. He began his career as a Staking Engineer at TSL (Technology Services Ltd, Dhaka), where he honed his skills in surveying and project supervision. Mr. Islam holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Rajshahi Engineering College (now RUET) and has received specialized training in areas such as public procurement management and electronic government procurement. He is a member of professional societies such as the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) and the Officer’s Club, Dhaka (OCD). With a keen interest in production line efficiency, electrical systems, and project management, Mr. Islam brings a valuable blend of expertise and passion to every endeavor.

Mohammad Ruknuzzaman, Managing Director of Bay Leasing, is a seasoned financial leader renowned for his success in the industry. Armed with a degree in Business Administration from Dhaka University’s IBA and membership in ICMAB, his academic prowess and practical know-how are unmatched. Serving as Financial Advisor at INSIDE Engineering, Ruknuzzaman leverages his vast expertise to provide strategic financial counsel, steering the company towards growth and prosperity. Engr. Hasanul Islam serves as the Environment Specialist at Inside Engineering, bringing over 11 years of extensive experience in environmental engineering and consulting to the team. Formerly employed at Nippon Koei Bangladesh Ltd., Hasanul was tasked with spearheading environmental studies, devising innovative environmental solutions, and ensuring regulatory compliance for various development projects across Bangladesh. With a robust background in civil engineering and finance, he has a proven track record of successfully executing environmental impact assessments, management plans, and industrial wastewater treatment initiatives. Hasanul’s expertise extends to sectors like infrastructure, energy, industry, and agriculture, where he has excelled in implementing sustainable environmental practices. As an environmental consultant and OSS expert for Japanese economic zones and projects, Hasanul has demonstrated proficiency in Japanese environmental standards and best practices. His key competencies include environmental analysis, design, planning, monitoring, auditing, training, and reporting, all aimed at fostering sustainable development and improving the quality of life for communities and stakeholders alike.

Engineer Md. Johirul Amin, our esteemed Environment and Feasibility Study Specialist, brings over 8 years of working experience with renowned Japanese companies in Bangladesh and World Bank funded projects with the Ministry of Commerce. His expertise encompasses LNG, power plant, and economic zone projects. He has actively contributed as an environmental and civil structural consultant in feasibility studies for various economic zones. With a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from CUET and a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from BUET, Hasan Mahmud possesses a solid educational foundation.

Engineer Umme Aimon, our esteemed Renewable Energy Specialist, is a dynamic individual with a diverse range of skills and experience. With a background as an Electrical Engineer, teacher, entrepreneur, researcher, and designer, she brings a unique perspective to her leadership role. Having worked at Siemens BD and served as a lecturer in a renowned university in Bangladesh, Mrs Umme Aimon possesses a strong foundation in both industry and academia. She is also currently pursuing her master’s degree in Energy and Economics at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU). A graduate of CUET’s Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), her entrepreneurial drive and dedication to research have propelled Inside Engineering forward. With over 5 years of dynamic experience in project management for major international infrastructure projects, Mr. Sadik brings extensive expertise to our team. His diverse background includes successful contributions to marine industries, water treatment plants, roads and highways, bridges, and civil and mechanical projects. Mr. Farhan completed his graduation in Civil Engineering from CUET later on he did his masters from BUET in structure. With 6 years of experience in interior and exterior design of civil structures, Mr. Soumik Kanungoe is a highly skilled architect.
